The most caring and considerate vets around. Knowledgable and supportive, saying goodbye to my best friend was the hardest thing I could imagine, Fiona and the team were there every step of the way. Previous to saying goodbye to him they helped him through terrible ear infections and made his older age as comfy as it could be.

Thought it was about time we left a review after Bill has become a bit of a permanent feature. Bill is the most challenging dog I've ever owned but Lucy who we see most cos she luvs him is awesome and he adores her, but not to say the rest of the team aren't cos they are. Always accommodating and caring to this very special needs Bullie. See you all next week ha ha ha.

Bess attended Boroughbridge vets as she had some sizeable mammary tumors to be removed. As it was a serious operation and she's 11 we decided to get her speyed aswell. The vets and Staff have been fantastic with Bess and she was comfortable throughout a long operation. The aftercare has been first class . I couldn't praise the vets and staff highly enough and i'd highly recommend this vetinary establishement. Thank you for looking after our lovely dog. Bess had her stitches out today and she's been for her first walk. Looks like shes making a great recovery. Thank you everyone who helped care for Bess ❤️

A truly independent veterinarian practice unlike Rae, Bean & Partners in Boroughbridge, (which is ultimately owned by Summit Partners, an american investment firm; so not really the Local vets for local pets that their recent flyer promotes). We used to use Rae Bean before they sold out in 2014 to Summit Partners, the leading veterinary care provider in Europe. We hoped that the purchasing power of such a large group of vets would reduce our ever increasing bills. Sadly, quite the opposite proved to be the case. Our elderly Boxer had ulcers on both eyes; Rae Bean sent us to a brilliant specialist in Sunderland, where, by chance, we could then compare the cost of unit prices for basic items with Rae Bean's prices. I asked the Manager at Rae Bean why his prices were going up so rapidly for treatment and why they were charging so much more for the same basic items as the specialist in Sunderland. He advised that his prices were set by Head Office and, despite asking Head Office, he had no latitude to do anything about pricing. So when we saw that Boroughbridge Vets were opening we were delighted. Then when we found that most of the wonderful staff at Rae Bean had left to join Boroughbridge Vets we were even more delighted. So here we are, seventeen months having left Rae Bean and having joined Boroughbridge Vets, we could not be happier. The staff are fabulous as always, their professionalism is wonderful and their prices are not insane. We recommend them unequivocally. Tim & Lisbet Howard 21/3/25
