I have been with Minster vets for years, and would go nowhere else. I recommen to everyone and have have a couple of friends who have joined and agree with me. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Truly love the animals, you can clearly see and feel their empathy if the pets arent well. Even the out of hours vets have given advice to try first, instead of having to pay massive bills by taking my pet in straight away. I cannot rate them highly enough. Well done Minster for doing such a great job, keep up the fantastic work you do.

Very kind and compassionate staff who helped me within five minutes of my call. They made my dog feel comfortable and safe while we weren’t with him and gave us such reassuring support. Couldn’t recommended a better vets in York!

I can’t recommend Minster enough, they helped us at almost 10 pm one night when our elderly girl Stella collapsed and could no longer use her back legs, we felt we were helped and put at ease in the process of having her put to sleep in the comfort of the back of our car. Great compassionate service and also ashes turned around in less than a week and a nice card received. Thank you Neil Webster

I have been a client of Minster Vets for nearly 30 years and they have always look ed after my dogs with great care, attention and empathy. Last week, I had the unenviable task of taking my ageing dog for the. last time. I went there uncertain of the outcome but with a high degree of probability that I'd be coming home alone. Kim was my vet on the day and she helped me through a difficult decision and made it bearable for me. its not the first time I've done this, and it never gets easier but it's always nice to know that they genuinely care about our pets and us as loving pet owners. Thank you Kim, and also for your thoughtful follow-up.

A pleasure to visit Minster Vets. Staff are always so courteous, warm & friendly. In over 35yrs never any cause for concern or complaint, receiving only 1st Class care; possibly not the cheapest, but by far the best. A joy to visit but maybe that's not always so for my 4 legged friend!

From calling, to brining in our cat, and having to have her put to sleep, Minster vets were exemplary. We were ushered into a consulting room as soon as we arrived and given private time with our cat Lulu to say goodbye. The process although heartbreaking could not have been more gentle comfortable, and considerate for Lulu and us. She left us peacefully. Minster vets had treated Lulu for 15 years; and when we feel up to having another pet they will look after that one too. Thank you. Must also mention the hand written sympathy card that arrived a few days later from the surgery. What a lovely gesture.

We recently had to have our very old 20 year old cat put to sleep. Minster Vets were nothing but absolutely brilliant. They listened to what we had to say gave us the time to say goodbye and made a very horrible process bearable. Jinx will be missed by all. The icing on the cake(if there can be) is i asked for some fur to remember her by. I today collected the most beautiful memory. A paw print of Jinx in clay and a glass bottle filled with her fur. Again thank you to all the staff there. You are awesome. Jinx was well looked after and for that we are truly grateful.

I moved to Minster vets earlier this year, after it was recommended by a neighbour. I took my dog Gilbert in to have his teeth done a few weeks back. Gilbert didn’t do well after a couple of removals and his face swelled up, but I was very impressed with the out of hours service we were given, the follow up appointments and care and the fact that all the staff who saw us at each point knew Gilbert and were genuinely concerned for him. I am also pleased with how friendly the reception staff are too. Currently happy to report that Gilbert is now back to full health again and I’m sure if he could say it himself, he would also thank you
